SGA Group Expands Team with the Addition of Tax Manager

CLARK, New Jersey (January 11, 2011) – SGA Group, PC, a full-service accounting firm based in Clark, New Jersey, announced today that Maureen M. Gaughran, CPA, has been hired as Tax Manager. Gaughran brings over 15 years of tax and accounting experience to the position, with a specialty in advisory services for privately-held businesses in the real estate and healthcare industries. In her new role, Gaughran will work closely with the firm’s Partners on tax planning and compliance issues. Her area of focus will be on tax compliance, planning, compilation and review engagements for small to mid-size clients; she will also supervise and mentor SGA Group’s tax preparation staff.

Gaughran had previously worked at SGA as a Staff Accountant when it was doing business as Salerno Gannon and Angelo. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
